Hi, This model is designed to secure a fire tv remote to a wall, it comes in two parts, one secured to the wall and the other secured to the back of the remote using double sided tape.  there is a tether between the two, made from a fishing lanyard, found here:

the lanyard is secured to either side using epoxy.  the two parts slide into one another, allowing the remote to rest securely.
