Solar Filter for any lenses that takes 52mm threaded filters to hold solar film. For photographing the sun and made with the April 2024 eclipse in mind. 

Prints in 2 parts and sandwiches the film between them, I used superglue (cyanoacrylate) to bond the parts together. 

No supports needed. Printed at 0.12 layer height, 0.4mm nozzle. 

WARNING: NEVER LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE SUN! DO NOT POINT CAMERA AT THE SUN WITHOUT THIS FILTER INSTALLED AND AFTER INSPECTING THE FILM TO ENSURE NO DAMAGE OR HOLES HAVE FORMED. 

UPDATE: Orginal 3MF files didn't play nicely with Prusa Slicer so they are not STL and open just fine.
