My new inverter generator didn't come with outlet covers. I wanted to protect the contacts from dust and corrosion, so I made my own quick-to-print solution. This increases the value of the generator by at least $25.
These covers can accept two 6mm*3mm circular magnets for a more secure fit on magnetic faceplates.
The covers are designed for U.S.-type NEMA 5-15 or 5-20 receptacles. They should also work for other wall plate accessories, including those low profile wall switches!
Bonus magnetic USB cover also included for the Pulsar PG2000iS or other niche USB cover applications. It can be used as a quick test piece too to get the look of your first layer just right.
