Hamster Cage Clips are 2-piece clips you attach to the top metal wiring of cage walls, allowing taller walls or roof. My hamster has learned how to climb the metal bars of his cage, so I need a way to make the cage slightly tall. So as part of the Hack Club Construct event, I am designing some clips that I can attach at the top of the bars, in between the bars, at a slight angle so I can then attach strips of cardboard (to the 3D printed clips, attached to the bars). I have spent a lot of time carefully measuring the bars and widths, and have a plan in mind. I took careful measurements, and used OnShape and Blender to model peg inserts that I will insert into the bars, so they don't wobble, along with clips that attach. This file has both the 2-peg and 3-peg styles. I am guessing the 3-pegs style will be needed, because if the 3D printed clip doesn't hold, the roof/wall extension would fall and my hamster would escape. . .again.
