Ender 5 Max TPU Gravity Feed Mount
I designed this gravity fed spool holder specifically for the Ender 5 Max after realizing there wasn’t a TPU friendly option out there. It mounts directly to the upper frame and uses the spool’s own weight to keep tension consistent while printing flexible filaments. Printed in PLA at 25% infill, it’s lightweight but strong enough for full 1kg spools.
The setup includes a custom screw-on end stopper to prevent the spool from sliding off during long prints a simple but essential touch that keeps TPU feeding reliably. This holder works great for any filament, but really shines when printing soft materials that need a friction free path.
