INTRODUCTION

Due to popular demand, we have designed an EMS frame for the Salad Fork with inverted electronics. Given the printer’s moving-bed design, an inverted electronics layout makes far more sense, allowing users to access their electronics easily without needing to flip the printer over.

NOTE: This model is currently considered a BETA release until full testing is completed.

THE DESIGN

This design builds upon the V0.2 and Switchwire Electronics Management solutions I previously developed. It eliminates the need for VHB tape (yes, VHB has its uses—but not for mounting electronics!).

All components are mounted using hex standoffs, allowing them to be positioned and repositioned freely to suit individual preferences and future upgrades.
