Wind Tunnel
This is another custom front-panel design for the MasterFrame 600 for the CoolerMaster FreeForm Competition.
The model is based on the wind-tunnel principle used in the HAVN 360 case.
The goal is a straight, unobstructed airflow path from the intake fans to the components, especially to the GPU.
Airflow Concept
The structure forms a focused air channel.
The shape reduces turbulence at the intake and stabilizes the airflow direction.
The fans can pull air in more efficiently because the tunnel prevents lateral dispersion.
This results in lower noise, better component cooling, and a cleaner pressure profile.
HDD Compatibility
The design leaves enough space for the standard HDD mounting bracket.
The tunnel geometry is elevated and angled so the bracket remains fully usable.
No modifications to the original frame or the bracket are required.
Modular Three-Part Design
The front is split into three individual modules.
Each part slides into the next using simple guide rails.
No screws are needed between the modules, the modules are screwed to the bottom of the case to gain stability.
You only fasten the assembled unit to the metal frame of the MasterFrame 600.
The sliding mechanism ensures precise alignment and makes printing and assembly easier.
I added holes for the cable Management from and to the PSU.
Printing Notes
All parts are optimized for printability on the Prusa Core One, which is unfortunately the reason I wasnt able to print it myself, since I dont own an CO (yet).
Each section fits on the build plate without the need for splitting.
Supports are minimal and only required on the inner sliding guides.
