This is a 3D-printed representation of Willie Wiredhand, the historic mascot of America’s electric cooperatives. Modeled after the classic character featured in the co-op movement since 1950, this figure reflects Willie’s signature friendly wave, bright yellow head and hands, and black-and-white “plug-body” design. More about the mascot’s history can be found here:

The print includes two recessed knockout slots on the back sized for 6×3 mm magnets, allowing it to be adapted in multiple ways:
- Lapel Pin – magnets can secure to an additional backing bar for wearable use.
- Fridge or Tool Cabinet Magnet – simply insert magnets for display on any metal surface.
- General Display Attachment – adaptable for hobby projects, co-op events, or educational demonstrations.
The design balances nostalgia and functionality—capturing the charm of the electric cooperative mascot while offering practical customization options.
The model was created from a raster image of the original logo. I can provide different 3mf files for each color if you would like to print without an AMS. Originally created as a gift for a coworker, hopefully sharing this model will find use at other electric cooperatives and act as discussion point to help spread the electric cooperative message.
