Summary
10/28 UPDATE
https://youtube.com/shorts/loxXQeZufA0 To see the actual result.
IT's the individual addressable strip version.
Fixed sevral printing problem, minmized support needed.
Remaining problem is vertically printed spike are too easy to break, considering it's a helmet it should be sacrificial and replacable.(i glued my first one so it's no ruined). So now I'm uploading a new version which has snap on triangle shape spike(Still waiting on the printing, not tested yet)
Light_UP_Mohawk_Helmet_Mod!!
You'll be the focus of a late ski night right away.
Or mod it to put on a motorcycle helmet.
It's a mohawk to intalled on a ski helmet(specifically a GIRO Trig size large), and it lights up.
Added a lever so you can still controll your helmet ventilaton,
It's still in development needing some fine detail tweeks, and a final installation test. But I cant help put it up here cuz i liked it so much

Filament: CR PETG
ClearNotes: Print it with clear or white material
Post-Printing
If you have a ender 3, the parts are alreay cut into smaller pieces to fit on it.
You mainly need to stick the base on helmet with some 3M tape or hot glue(recommended for easier and cleaner removal), stick the led strip on the base board, fit the controller at end of the top cover, and finally put all spikes on top.
How I Designed This
If you have a different helmet and want exact fit. All you need to do is use the 3D scanner to get a rough shape to start. I'll trying to find out a universal fit version in the future.
