Adjustable Wall Bracket for IKEA EKET Cube Shelf

This is an adjustable wall mounting bracket designed specifically for IKEA EKET cube shelves.

Recommended printing materials:

• ABS or PETG for best strength and durability
• PLA+ is also suitable if the shelf is not intended to carry heavy loads

Suggested print settings:

• Infill: 30%
• Perimeters: 3 walls
• Layer height: 0.2 mm

Why this bracket

I designed this bracket because all the printable wall brackets I found were not adjustable at all.
This solution allows you to adjust the cabinet horizontally and vertically, with about ±2 cm of adjustment in both directions, making it easy to perfectly level the EKET unit after installation.

Installation instructions

1. Pre-assemble the horizontal and vertical bracket using a 3.5 × 15 mm screw Do not use countersunk screws. Use only screws with a flat bearing surface under the head.
2. Use the reference marks on the horizontal and vertical parts to align them.
3. Temporarily mount the assembled brackets on the back of the EKET cabinet.
4. Measure the distance between the two brackets to determine the correct hole spacing on the wall.
5. Drill the wall accordingly.
6. Fix the wall brackets using 5 × 50 mm wall screws (use suitable wall plugs if required).
7. Hang the cabinet on the wall.
8. If fine adjustment is needed, remove the cabinet, adjust the brackets, tighten everything securely, and reinstall the cabinet permanently.

Installation tip

For best results, I recommend installing the wall brackets using a laser level, so the mounting plane is already straight. This will make the final cabinet installation much easier and faster.
