I found it somewhat hard to quickly zero the front tilt on my Intrepid 8x10, and for heavier or unbalanced barrel lenses I'd have to tighten it way tighter than i was comfortable with, so i designed a simple attachment to lock down the tilt in the zero position. It does not affect the normal operation of the camera, though the lock is not available if front fall is bottomed out.

The attachment is a simple press fit - you can use double sided tape to affix it semi-permanently - no need to risk your warranty by modifying the front standard itself. The sliders are slightly oversized and need to be filed down to the exact width for a tight fit. A simple print works perfectly fine, the print material doesn't really matter since the forces that far from the pivot point are very manageable, but the model is prepared with tool clearance in mind if you want to have it CNC milled.
