The SimpliSafe® base station has a bright blue light that cannot be dimmed or turned off at this time.  If the unit is in a visable location this can be very annoying.  This shade fits the curved contour and slides over the top of the unit. I printed it in vase mode and then cut off the bottom closed layer with an xacto knife. It can be printed in materials of varing opacity to modulate the transmission of the blue light. I does not seem to interfere with the wifi signal. It is designed to be printed in vase mode
