This is a redesign of a cell phone stand that I previously posted on Thingverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1949424). I didn’t like the way it worked when the phone was plugged into a USB charging cord, so I incorporated a charging pad into the design (“Anker Wireless Charger PowerPort Qi Wireless Charging Pad” from Amazon.com, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00Y839YMU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1).
This part prints best on its side. I put rubber feet on the bottom to keep it from sliding on my desk. I also added a piece of foam tape on the lip that holds the cell phone so that the phone doesn’t slide around. Finally, I secured the charging pad using double-stick foam tape
The photos shown a variation that has my company’s logo on the face, but I eliminated that in the STL file uploaded here. I left the USB cord accessible at the top (instead of burying it inside the part so that I could easily unplug the cord to charge my USB Headset. It doesn’t look as nice this way, but it’s more functional for me.
Enjoy!
