Summary
Got sick of the NAVMAN dashcam mount coming loose all the time. Its only ball knuckle in a socket with nothing to tighten it up. Over time the knuckle became loose due to heat on the windscreen.
I'm using a flat adhesive GoPro mount to mount it now. Its much smaller profile and extremely sturdy.
