For some reason, my Ridgid shop vac didn't come with a crevice attachment. They expect you to buy one for... let's see... $8-$13 plus tax.

I noticed that pretty much all crevice attachments have a sort of cutout or design to stop the attachment from getting stuck to the floor, or fabric, or whatever you're vacuuming. Thus the little teeth on the end.
