I needed a way to mount a phone and a ring light on the same tripod, so I designed this. The one pictured is the 150mm version. I generated 200mm, 250mm and 300mm versions as well. The way it's designed allows more than one device per side (e.g. and DSLR and phone on one side, a mic and spotlight on the other).

Printing

I printed these in PLA at 0.2mm layer height and 50% infill. That seems to work for my purposes. ABS, ASA or PC filament might be better if you're concerned about strength or temperature resistance.

Usage

Insert one or more screws into the hole near the center of each side of the bar, slide them along the bar, then mount the bar on the tripod. Use the screws to mount the devices.

Note: The threads on the screws and the bar might be a bit tight on first usage. Don't force it. If necessary, back off the screw a bit every quarter turn to help loosen it up.

Disclaimer and Caution

The screws are plastic and are under tension when in use. Don't over-tighten the screws or subject them to stress. If you are the least bit hesitant about using this with your equipment, don't do it. Personally, I wouldn't use this with any device I couldn't easily replace in the event of failure. Use at your own risk.
