Basic holder for a phone so that it can be attached to a tripod.

The holder is spring loaded so that it can hold any flat device. Devices can be held in portrait or landscape modes.

I used an tripod mount adapter screw in the bottom and attached it with some hot glue.

1. Print parts A and B.
2. Fit together
3. Use some tension springs (be sure that they are not too strong). Ensure that the springs do not come off the lugs by applying a small dab of hot glue. For the springs, I used 2 5 x 20.mm extension springs. You could use some rubber bands instead.
4. Glue in a screw mount for a tripod if available. The model could be changed to take a nut instead.
5. (Optional) Attach some soft foam feet to lessen the chance of the holder twisting around when connected.
