Summary
A remix of Aquila Mainboard Bay for BTT SKR Mini E3 V2.0 by MaKManIfest. Took a long look at the original and thought it was perfect for my V3.0 SKR Mini E3 but wondered why the folks at Voxelab made you turn the machine upside down to work on the thing and why not make it right side up? That solves the USB port being inverted along with the SD card always needing to be turned upside down plus you could see the LED's. So I tinkered up this upside down case to make the world right side up. If you did not follow that, this control board case opens from the top, not the bottom like the original. Once installed you may be turning your machine upside down less often.
Fan has been moved to the center of the machine to reduce the noise a bit. You will not likely be able to use the upper 2 fan mounting holes as there is little play between them and the rail. Given the SKR mounting holes emulate the Ender3 that should allow many other boards to fit either this case or the thing:4979579 that this one came from.
Print Settings
Printer:
Voxelab Aquila X2
Rafts:
No
Supports:
Yes
Resolution:
0.32 but with a 0.6 Noz
Infill:
Yes, suit to taste
Notes:
When printing the only places that truly needed support are the top of fan hole and the inside of the claw that attaches to the center rail. In the pic of my machine the top cover was made thinner by omitting the top layers when printed upside down (set to 0) as the filament is most transparent at just a couple of layers thick.
