This is a 3D printable wooden sword sized for small hands, I made it for my kids (then quickly regretted it). Fits a Mk3/S so may not print on smaller printers as is

They've had 6 months use in the current iteration (after the first one fell to bits)

Prints in halves - you can use any filament but I used wood filled PLA for the blade parts. 

Use short lengths of 1.75mm filament as dowels to index the parts and glue together with cyanoacrylate (super glue) or epoxy, use elastic bands to hold the two halves together while gluing. 

The guard is a fitted over the handle and held in place by the handle.

The glued together handle (2 versions one with clearance and one without choose how much sanding you want to do) is held to the blade using a tapered pin (katana style!). Use a brim and support for the handle.  Print the peg on the flat surface.

There is a Fusion360 (and Step file) file included so if you want you can write your name on the blade.
