My parents had issues opening the very smooth soda stream cap. So, I created a knurled over-cap that fits over the original smooth cap. I printed it at 99% scale, and it was tight enough it pressure fitted and did not need glueing, but you could use a drop of super glue if you don't mind them being permanently bonded.

I printed it in PLA, so they are not going in the dishwasher.
