Reusable / refillable filament spools (Sunlu, Bambu Lab, eSun, etc.) have openings in their flanges. On the Ender 5 Max stock spool holder, these openings can catch on the mounting screws that secure the holder — causing the spool to jam, stop spinning, and potentially lead to under-extrusion or failed prints.
This deflector mounts on the spool holder and acts as a smooth guide, preventing the spool flanges from catching on the screws. It ensures consistent, friction-free rotation throughout the entire print.
