I wanted something different to hold my toothpicks that wasn't just a open container.
So, this toothpick rocket was born. The toothpicks I use is ≈ 65 mm.
Made the part separate so that anyone could print these and still have whatever color they prefer.
The tolerances in this print are made tight.
I wanted the lid to have a friction fit so that I could tip over the container without the toothpicks falling out. If you want a loose fit I would suggest to increase the size of the cone by about 0,5%.
The fins/body will test how accurate prints you can achieve, my four fins was a mix from slid in by hand to had to use a small hammer and gently persuade the fins to go into place. You could test going for thinner layers them me if you really struggle to get the fins into place.
Printed with:
K2 Plus, 0.20 mm layer height, 15 % infill on the fins and cone (cone will be solid), brims on the cone. 4 walls on the body since I printed in white and didn’t want the light that goes trough to show the uneven support structure in a tube. Creality Hyper PLA.
