Save my large-sized building blocks! A homemade replacement screwdriver 3D printing model
Who can relate, guys! I spent a lot of money on that large-particle building block set, but because the kid was too forceful when screwing, the original screwdriver broke into two pieces right at the handle connection 😭
I originally thought the whole set of building blocks would be scrapped. I searched all over the internet and major 3D printing communities, but I couldn't find a usable replacement screwdriver model. There was nothing I could do but take matters into my own hands and make do with what I had!
It took me some time to model it and I made a replacement that looks almost the same as the original one. To avoid making the same mistake again, I specifically did strength optimization:
- All the parts that are most prone to breakage, such as the screwdriver head, the connecting rod, and the handle connection, have all been used75% high filler content
- Use the main part of the handle15% fillerThat's enough. It's both lightweight and cost-effective
I've tested it and it fits perfectly. Now the building blocks can be played with normally again! I'd like to share this with friends who have the same problem. You don't have to waste an entire set of toys just because of a small part anymore~
