Based on the excellent work of w3r3wolv3s, I created a series of Ninja Turtles dimension mosaics. It includes 5 panels. The first panel is the TMNT logo, while panels 2, 3, 4, and 5 feature the turtles' faces. Leo, Donny, Mikey, and Raphy are all the same, except for the color of their masks. Everything is built on top of hexagonal mosaics, which look very much like sewer covers.
These prints do indeed use more than 4 colors, with the logo having 7 colors and the face having 8 colors. Therefore, during the printing process, you need to replace the filament. I didn't set pauses in the printing, as you will be switching colors at different points in time. However, if you hover your mouse over the layer where the color changes, it will tell you how long the change will take after printing. Then, I set a timer on my phone to perform the replacement. Although, if you prefer to do it this way, adding pauses is very simple.
This is the size of the A1 Mini. If you have a larger printer and want to enlarge it, please only scale the x and y axes, as it will allocate colors based on the layer height. If you want to scale the z axis, you must reassign which layers the filament changes occur on.
After printing it out, I'll add pictures of the other three turtles. So far, I've only printed Leo
