Little orange thing, that is used to tension the main spring, gets a lot of stress. It broke and after glueing, it is slanted a little differently, so for me it was slipping before the spring was fully tensioned.
I created a model with the dimnsions of the original part and printed it in PA12 nylon (ASA part broke almost imediately). The part printed a little oversized(cca. 0.1mm). I prefere sanding it to fit, rather then having it too loose.
PA12 is about twice as hygroscopic as ASA, so not extremely. I prefere drying it(owen at 80°C for 8 hours). I also annealed the part in the owen at 80°C for 8 hours. I was a bit paranoid because of ASA part breaking so easily.
I printed it on the top slanted side of the model, without supports, with 3 walls and 30% infill.
