Purchased the Gotofine Automatic Foaming Soap Dispenser; it comes with a wall mount that is quite literally a sticker. It would not adhere to the textured, brown walls (aka The Landlord Special) in my apartment.

This should be a suitable long-term solution. I made sure to include an anchor/molly into the wall before mounting, as the soap dispenser is quite heavy when full. For the screw, I used a #6 which should be roughly an M4. My hardware store is mostly in Freedom Units.
