This piece is made to be compatible with the ModernTie brand of tie knots. With this piece, you can create custom ties to work with the tie knots created by ModernTie. This link takes you to their website. ModernTie. All you need to do is take a tie, or fabric of your choice, and cut to the desired tie length. Sew the cut end of the tie around the lip in the middle of the model, and glue a strong magnet into the hole in the top. This process is easiest to complete if you have a knot with you, for a visual of the correct orientation of the tie. Heavier fabrics will not work as well, depending on the strength of the magnet you use.
