Important Notes and Disclaimers:
The adapter described here is a preliminary development version. The information in this manual is based on the current development status and may be changed without notice. Users who use this adapter must bear all the risks themselves. The manufacturer does not provide any guarantee or assume any responsibility for its functionality, safety, or any damage caused directly or indirectly by the use of this adapter.
Description:
An adapter ring suitable for standard Schrader automotive valve nozzles, compatible with commercially available spray cans. Using this adapter, you can refill spray cans and repressurize them.
Recommended usage:
For a 600ml spray can, it is recommended to fill about one-third of the volume to leave enough space to accommodate air pressure. This will only result in a lower working pressure
Advantages:
High cost-effectiveness: It can be reused, reducing material costs compared to disposable spray cans.
Environmental protection: Reduce waste, as spray cans don't need to be discarded frequently.
Flexibility: You can mix the colors by yourself.
Lower pressure risk: At low pressure, the risk of sudden material failure or explosion is lower—the system is more likely to experience leaks before a catastrophic failure occurs.
Disadvantages/risks:
Limited performance: Low pressure means lower spray pressure, shorter spray distance, and uneven coating - especially for thick paints.
Rapid pressure drop: Under load, the pressure will drop faster.
Safety risks: Incorrect pressure, unsuitable materials, or inappropriate nozzle covers can lead to leaks and even cause dangerous situations in extreme cases.
Material compatibility: Thick paint or a high-flow nozzle cap can cause problems - they may lead to clogging or uneven spraying.
Responsibility: Since the refilling and pressurization are carried out outside the standardized production process, the risk is borne by the user. Maintenance: The valves and adapters must be kept clean and intact. Damage or leaks will increase the risk.
