Update: June 5, 2019. I occasionally encountered clogging issues with the blades hitting the end of the loading process. I further modified the selector and blade cover to prevent this from happening. I also made the blade "socket" deeper and added a pressure plate to the blade cover to make the blades safer. Print the selector in the usual direction
I did this to solve the problem that the filament didn't fully retract into the idler wheel body, but was dragged by the selector instead.
This modified selector has higher cutting efficiency. The PTFE tube fixing plate has a high blade groove, so when the blade passes through, the filament will not be lifted and dragged. There are two blades, so cutting can be done in two directions.
It also includes a slightly more refined entrance. Unlike my other selectors, it's not conical, but it still leaves some room for non-straight filaments.
It's still in the testing phase, so let's consider this experiment.
