Pop Vinyl Display Wall Bracket – Version 2 (Prototype / Display Grade)
This is Version 2 of a modular wall-mounted display bracket designed specifically for boxed Pop Vinyl figures. The goal of this design is to balance structural support with visibility, allowing the figure to be securely displayed while still showcasing the front and side artwork of the box.
This iteration focuses on a minimal-support, print-efficient structure that can be produced without supports on most FDM printers. The open-sided design and angled supports help maintain visibility while reducing material usage and print time compared to fully enclosed designs.
Key Features:
Support-free print design (tested with standard FDM settings)
Open side windows to preserve box artwork visibility
Integrated angled supports for basic structural reinforcement
Designed to hold standard-size boxed figures securely in place
Lightweight and material-efficient
Important Notes:
This version is intended for display purposes only and is not designed for heavy load-bearing applications
Some flex may occur under higher weight; best used with lightweight items such as collectible figures
Box tolerances may vary—older or slightly deformed boxes may fit tightly
Recommended to allow slight additional clearance if modifying the design
Print Recommendations:
Layer height: 0.2 mm or higher
Infill: 10–15% (gyroid or similar)
Walls: 3–4 perimeters for strength
No supports required
Future Improvements (Planned):
Improved front rigidity to reduce flex
Exploration of modular/multi-part assembly for enhanced strength and faster print times
This model represents an early functional prototype and is part of an ongoing design process focused on modular, scalable display systems.
