I used this as a sliding cover for my LED sensor which is activated by covering/uncovering it.
No particular mounting but I personally used some super glue, however hot glue and double-sided tape should also work.

When finished printing you may have to remove the small knob bits and slightly modify the print for best aesthetics and function.
