The threaded inserts on the Logitech C920 camera, which are used to secure it to a tripod and other regular webcam stands with a standard 1/4-20 threaded interface, can sometimes loosen or even fall off.

If the threaded insert of your C920 is lost, simply replacing this component can easily solve the problem. The size of the threaded insert is carefully designed, allowing it to be easily installed on the camera with a basic friction fit, and I personally have never encountered any problems during actual use.

Since many Logitech webcams use very similar installation hardware, this threaded insert may also be suitable for other models of Logitech cameras, but I have only conducted a dedicated test on the C920 so far.
