Hello everyone, there are several main reasons why I decided to redesign
- I just need a MOSFET. In my opinion, it's a bit overkill to equip a dedicated external MOSFET just for the hot end.
- I wish the cable routing openings on the case could be made a bit larger.
- Moreover, I also made some other minor changes... and these changes ultimately led to:
- The original .F3D file is no longer available for download.
Overall, the design of the original casing is quite good. However, since I want to add or subtract a few details, there are some differences between my version and the original one.
Please note:
The original Z-axis limit switch is not compatible with this case and is not interchangeable with the original version. This is because the two screw holes on the right side of the case used to fix the limit switch are completely obscured by the case itself. It's simply not possible to improvise with simple tools like Lego bricks to make do with it temporarily. :)
If you want to open an additional hole in the casing to allow the original limit switch to function normally, you can modify it yourself—of course, I've attached the corresponding .F3D file for everyone. :)
I still want to give the original designer some well-deserved praise—what I've done is just to extend and improve on his work a bit.

Because a friend found a problem when printing this case, I re-uploaded all three files.
The effect of printing with the original file is very ideal, but the new version is more tolerant in terms of tolerance processing, and the requirements for printing accuracy are also relatively lower.

In response to the demands of many users, we have added a dual MOSFET version—but personally, I still think this is a bit redundant :)
Additional notes:
To fix the case and the motherboard to the rack, you just need to use the four M3 bolts and nuts that were originally used to fix the motherboard.
To screw the case cover onto the case, you just need to heat it in the corresponding position and embed three M3 nuts. Simply heat it with a regular lighter for a few seconds, then gently tighten it with a screwdriver or similar tool, and it will be easily done.
As for the installation of the MOSFET, you can use four self-tapping screws to fix it in place.
