The water toilet basin is build into the wall with almost no technical acces to it. When a flexible hose started leaking there was no way to replace it unless removing (distroying) a ceramic tile. After replacing the tube, I preffered to have this top plate in case that I need to acces the basin again so I only remove a plastic piece rather than other ceramic tiles.
