The goal of this project is to recombine two components of a broken snow globe. The center piece sits within an inset which holds it snugly in place. The inset has a channel to catch extra glue in case the piece needs to be secured more.
The bottom of the snow globe contains a functional music box. The platform can't glue to the base because then the music box would be unreachable. Instead, it uses 8 flanges to hold itself in place. This also helps account for the slightly oblong shape of the hole.

Print upside-down so that the supports fill in the inset. This uses less supports than printing upright.
Remove the supports to reveal the inset. Scratching the inset surface is okay because it will be covered by the centerpiece.
