Within the first two years of owning a 7771 series tacklebox made by Plano , the tab holding this door shut snapped off. I was recently in a Scheels store, looking at a 7771 tacklebox, and I could already see stress marks on a brand new one.
I am very new to 3D printing and any sort of design/CAD software. (<2 weeks) I put this together measuring with a caliper and using Tinkercad. I printed it using black QIDI PLA filament and printed it at the recommended QIDI slicer settings (because I have no idea what I am doing yet). I'm sure there are other filaments that would better suit an object that will be exposed to the elements and those may require a little further tinkering. (The curve on the locking tab may need to be compressed if using a more rigid filament because of the snug fit.)
Hope this can help out some fellow upset Plano 7771 owners!
