Our new house has some cavity sliders between the garage and the rest of the house, due to having cats that like to explore but are meant to be inside we like to keep these sliders locked (because cats are smart and sliding doors pose no challenge to them)
Only one side of these doors has a latch/handle for actually engaging and disengaging the lock, the other side is a typical coin/butter knife slot for emergency unlocking - as with most privacy style locks.
I have no trouble operating this with my giant thumb and nail combination, it's relatively simple and easy to do but my poor wife with her tiny child like fingers has absolutely no hope.
So, I spent a day and made about 6 iterations of this to find one I can snap on and operate the screw head without slipping on the surface (or slipping off into the cavity) and this is the result.
I'm sorry I don't know the brand or make of latch, but the privacy knob is about 18mm in diameter, has a 2.8mm wide/deep slot

Notes:
I don't think it matters too much how you print it, it's not a very big model and the important part is mostly walls, there's a sharp overhang at the top but it's only half a mm on each of the two steps.
Measurements
Get out the calipers and measure the important features.
Diameter - 18 odd mmSlot width - 2.8mm
Slot depth - 2.9mm eh we'll call it 2.8 so I don't have to remember two figures
Depth of outer lip - about 2mm (so we can grab it.
Iterate
Print the smallest least complicated thing you can expect to fit, then step forth in complexity.
Left to right
- First print - basically a cylinder with a hole in it to make sure it fits
- Second, I noticed how much larger it was than I expected, also resulted in it being a lot stiffer and harder to clip on
- Third, I added a key to fit the slot, you can't see it but it's there
- Fourth, I added wings to make it easier to flick with a finger, they resulted in the circle being distorted
Progression
A test fit
Refinement
After noticing that the circle was being pulled askew as it cooled I added slots between the wings and the main body, I also added slots and a lip to the main body so it could more "clip" over the privacy knob instead of slip over it.
Then I spentway too long adding a chamfer to the back to make it nicer to handle, my printer was printing with real sharp edges.
