Definitely Needs Supports.
Designed for metric M5 screw and nut.
For non metric screws just scale the print e.g. 1/4 = 5.5mm = +10%

Take two plastic bags and let them hang over the outer edge of the bin with the bag handle pointing to the center of the bin.

With a one each side pull the bag handles to find the location where the bags are taut and form a line in the center.

Drill a hole on each side and mount the screw in the counter piece and the nut in the button / knob.
