Summary
I wanted a sprinkler so instead of buying one, I made one. I've tested it for the past few months before posting it. It a simple design, allowing it to print easily and be durable. It's small (but still has a large area coverage) which means it uses less filament and is less noticeable for those passing by. I have high water pressure, but even those with low pressure will work, as I have to keep it pretty low for my yard. In the pictures, the lines on the road/driveway is with full pressure. It was reaching me as well, you can kind of see it on the sidewalk. I have no issues with water not hitting directly under the main stream.
The ground pins are provided to help keep the sprinkler level with the ground.
Thread is American GHT.
I used black Elegoo Rapid PETG. It's sat in the sun all summer and I've had no issues. Other filaments are okay as long as it's not PLA.
For the supports, I used tree 20% overhang angle 0.24 top z distance. Ensure that the supports contact the top of the threads. You may need to manually add them. Make sure that there are no supports in the exit holes, as they are small so it would be a pain to remove as well as disrupt the water flow. They are angled so that should be an issue anyways.
I used 3 walls/top/bottom layers. You can add more, do not recommend less as water may pass through layer lines.
