Why

If you are anything like me, you know what it's like to waste an entire evening, scrolling on your phone. At some point you look up, realise how late it is and wonder, where the time whent.

For this reason I created the phone station. 

How it works

You can put the phone station in the entrance area at home or in the corridor. 

As soon as you come home, you put your phone in. You can use your phone as always, just don't leave the station. 

That way you minimize the chance of loosing track of time, because it will become uncomfortable, to stand in the corridor for a long period of time.

It is also a great way of having control over your kids phone time. Thats why I created a version with solts for four phones.

Of course you could just put your phone in a bowl or something similar, but then you couldn't print anything.

I added holes for charging cables so you could even leave your phone there over night.

Printing

I optimized this model to be printed without supports.

I printed mine in PETG but surely PLA would work as good.

• No supports
• 0.2 or whatever works for you
• consider adding a brim (for me it worked without one)

I already created a first version of this design with some tricky overhangs and it didn't come out as neat as I wished, but I didn't want to waste the print, because it still works. That's why I didn't add any pictures of printed models.
