Inline fans are pretty quiet on their own, but if you mount them to a diaphragm like a ceiling or a wall you'll notice they make that member make a lot of noise. This is somewhat akin to a motor mount, and will significantly reduce that noise. Now your printer enclosure, indoor garden, or whatever can operate much more quietly.
