The Bambu AMS 2 Pro seems to have a PTFE tubing length limit. If it is too long, the printer gives a high resistance error. This is regardless of how straight the tubing is!

As my setup requires the AMS to be below the printer, on a sliding shelf so that I can load it, it was quite frustrating. In order for it to work, I needed to keep the tubing short. I could either disconnect from the printer, or add a coupler, then decouple it when I load filament.

Standard PTFE tubing couplers are inconvenient to uncouple, so I designed this simple squeeze adapter to make decoupling easier.

Parts required: two Bowden tube couplers PC4-M10 (10 for $4 on Amazon)

I knurled the parts for no valid reason whatsoever!
