My pin already came with a broke plastic, but the issue is the ball likes to launch off the ramp and wedge in between the plastic and glass. This should protect you current plastic from getting cracked and/or from the ball getting wedged up there. 

I printed it flipped over and painted on supports for the tabs. No support in the channel and it printed fine.
