Note, some users have reported fitment errors between the mount and the ball attachment. I have marked the object as a work in progress and will attempt to identify the source of the errors. For now, slight modification might be required to ensure a snug fit.
This is a universal ball bracket for mounting the Eon Dashcam Kit to any windshield. The Eon Dashcam Devkit is a piece of hardware sold by Comma.ai that runs Chffr, a tool that is helping to train a computer model to drive cars like Humans. Also useful for running the open source Openpilot autonomous driving software package, available on GitHub.
You will need the following to use the mount:
1 - #8-32 Machine Screw Nut
1 - #8-32 Socket Cap Screw, 1-1/2" long
*I am not in any capacity employed, compensated, or in league with Comma.ai on a professional level, they are not responsible for anything I may or may not design. As with everything in life, if you use these files you do so at your own risk, print these in PLA and drive through death valley while running Openpilot and have it melt and you crash and die, don't come trying to haunt me. Or if you do, recognize that I might enjoy the company and not let you leave.
Seriously, take responsibility for your own life and actions, because I won't.*
