Materials needed

1. Spraypaint (silver, white)
2. Model paints (blue, white, red)
3. Clear five minute epoxy
4. Hobby electrical wire, 20ga or larger
5. USB C female breakout board
6. Short length of COB LED white light strip
7. CA glue
8. Switch (example )
9. Hot glue gun
10. USB C cable + wall wart power adapter.

Build instructions

1. Print two of the “moopsy half” files, ensure you mirror one so they fit together. Also print x2 of the “moopsy eyes”. Moopsy should be printed in transparent filament, the eyes in black. Print the base parts in black.
2. Print one of each base part.
3. Apply silver metallic spraypaint to a kitchen sponge/scrubbie and use this to rub the paint onto the top surfaces of the base cover. 
4. Cut a short length of the light strip to fit inside the moopsy, recommend attached to the bottom inside surface. Solder wires to the strip, run the wires through a back leg and then stick the led strip to the inside surface of the moopsy half.
5. Glue two halves of the moopsy together with CA glue. Let set.
6. Lightly mist white spraypaint onto the assembled moopsy. The idea is to have it appear white when it's own light is not activated, but still allow the LED strip inside to project light out at night.
7. Insert eyes, set with CA glue. 
8. Paint eyes
9. Snap switch into the base cover.
10. Determine placement of moopsy on the cover, mark a spot to drill a hole for the back foot with the wires, drill hole in cover and run wires through.
11. Solder positive wire from moopsy to switch.
12. Place usb breakout board into hole in base, hot glue to secure.
13. Solder a positive wire from the (+) on the breakout board to the switch.
14. Solder the negative wire from the moopsy to the breakout board (-) 
15. Apply small bead of CA glue to the inside rim of the base. Pulling wires tight from the moopsy to the cover, place cover ensuring all wires are tucked out of the way. Let sit for 10 minutes.
16. Mix a small amount of 5 min clear epoxy, adding a few drops of red model paint for a blood effect. Apply to the surface of the base as desired. Let cure for an hour (the paint will slow curing time).
17. Plug in, and enjoy!
