The top section of the trophy is inspired by a lightbulb while it maintains an organic look. This is to reflect the ideas and breakthroughs that developers have had to push 3d printing technology forward. It is intended to be printed with the SLS printer.

The lower section is intentionally inorganic looking. The sharp corners and edges are intended to have a manmade and machined look. It is intended to be printed with the MBJ Printer.

Together the trophy represents the natural and organic progress that has been built on the foundation laid by the machining processes of the past.

The base has channels for the lightbulb to be glued into.
