The Egg Drop Easter Bunny is a great addition for this year's easter decoration! Perhaps use one per place setting at Easter dinner. The Egg Drop Easter Bunny has an internal ramp; if you drop in a 13mm egg or 13mm ball, it will spiral around 3 times before it drops out of the bottom. So, it's both a toy and a decoration.
The model is sized to fit a specific LED tea light. If you use a different LED tea light, you might have to scale the model to fit.
This is the LED tea light I used: https://a.co/d/03Ylxzaw
It was 24 LED tea lights for $9.99.
Pry the bottom of the tea light out of it's housing and then snap click it into the bottom of the Bunny. After removing the battery, I used a flat screwdriver to pry the bottom off. On the tea light, the black switch is the thinnest area in the z direction; line it up with the lowest part of the ramp. If you don't, you can't snap it into place because there isn't enough room in the z direction.
The Bunny needs a little support when printing. Use the *.3mf files or paint on your manual supports in 2 places: 1. under the lower side of the ramp, and 2. the roof at the egg exit. When using PrusaSlicer, I used 0.28 mm layer height for a faster print. It worked very well.
I found that the egg printed quite well at 0.28 mm layer height when using PrusaSlicer. The egg is only 13 mm tall and the 0.28 mm layer height created the best shape. Other setting make weird egg profiles. Of course, a ball moves through the spiral ramp much better than an egg, so I've provided a ball as well. The egg just tumbles out, but the ball shoots out. The ball prints easily with default settings. Neither egg nor ball need supports.
Warning: choking hazard. Not for infants. Not for toddlers!
FYI:
This model was created by merging 2 designs:
1. Easter Bunny with LED tea light
2. miniature object permanence box
The shape of each slice of the Egg Drop Easter Bunny is weird; the slice shape of the spiral ramp is bazar and the amount of area on each layer is small. To illustrate this point, here is a gif of the slices bouncing back and forth between top and bottom.
