Hey there,
I proudly present thee…yet another calibration model intended to refine, in an iterative fashion, the accuracy of your 3D printed parts…in case you need it.
I sketched it based on current needs - relatively long parts 150 mm - relatively thin parts 20-30 mm - using extra hardware - M3, M4, M5 screws and 609 bearings.
The holes are meant for normal tolerance and current models do not cover holes along Y axis - to be added sometime in the future.
I added both STL and STEP files - I use STEP but the platform properly displays STLs.
The first iteration is now being printed, I'll add photos once completed.
Context:
I am standardizing my cali tools and after paying some coin for the CaliLantern from Vector3D and being less than enthusiastic with the results, I popped the CAD and drew up a quick model based on current needs.
