I needed a 3/8" studded knob for a project recently and couldn't find one I liked. I designed this as a multi-function knob that can be used either as stud knob or captive nut knob. Cap covers the screw head when used as a stud knob and can be excluded for use as a captive nut knob.

• NOTE - This reduces the length of the screw by exactly 1/2"

I've printed at .2mm layers using Proto-Pasta Carbon Fiber PLA. The insert cap was printed at .2 with Verbatim Green PLA. The Verbatim Green is similar in color to Festool but I actually like it a little better as it's not quite so in-your-face-lime green.

No plans to create in any other size. I'll only create others as I need them and share when available.
