Summary
My parents RX300 window switch was on the fritz, it would go down and up randomly.
While repairing the regulators (unrelated) I decided to take apart the switch assembly.
I found a tiny deteriorated part on the inside of the switch. I moved an intact one from another switch to the disabled one and it worked. An hour or so in tinker cad and delivered to my dad the next day it worked as planned.
I have seen many fixes and problems with these aging cars and this may be an optional (cheap) fix. If your switch does not bounce back to position...this is your problem, it sits over a spring and if not in place can cause the contacts to act erratically.
Use caution lifting the switch cover off of the assembly and you will find a few pieces of plastic rattling around in there, that is what will be replaced with this print. There is a spring in there that this part rides on to return the switch to center. Remove the broken stuff put in the new and done.
Hope it helps
